Developer, Data & Systems

The Developer, Data & Systems plays a key role in designing, building, and supporting the backend systems, platforms, and integrations that power the PBO's web applications, digital services and datastores. As a member of a small and highly agile team, the incumbent collaborates closely with analysts to design, build, and maintain backend systems, APIs, and databases. They are a curious and resourceful problem solver who takes initiative, embraces continuous learning, and consistently applies secure development and cybersecurity practices. Comfortable working across backend development and modern deployment practices, they are motivated to broaden their expertise in web development, data engineering, and systems integration.

Executive Assistant to the Parliamentary Budget Officer

The Executive Assistant to the Parliamentary Budget Officer manages the Parliamentary Budget Officer's calendar and access, exercising sound judgment and discretion to prioritize competing demands and safeguard sensitive information. The position coordinates logistics for the Parliamentary Budget Officer's meetings and engagements, document routing and approvals, and provides reception and front-of-office services for the PBO, working closely with colleagues across a small corporate services team to ensure consistent, coordinated support. The position reports administratively to the Senior Director, Corporate Services, while providing direct executive support to the Parliamentary Budget Officer.
